Seven things to do and see in Arlington as IndyCar races at this new street track
Arlington is a city in Texas, Tarrant County located between Dallas and Fort Worth, with a population of roughly 400,000 and is known as a premier entertainment hub.
IndyCar races on the streets of Arlington for 70 laps at this brand new circuit from March 13-15, with the playing field being even since no one has driven here before.

Six Flags Over Texas
Six Flags Over Texas is the original Six Flags theme park that was established over 60 years ago and includes thrilling rides, world-class entertainment and unique shopping experiences.
Amusement park enthusiasts can ride their 14 exciting roller coasters and discover five areas that resemble the history of Texas as well as other franchises (which are Spain and Mexico, Texas, Bugs Bunny Boomtown, Tower and Gotham City).
National Medal of Honour Museum
The National Medal of Honour Museum celebrates and honours the inspiring lives and legacies of ordinary Americans who took extraordinary action in the service of others in the United States Armed Forces.
Since it officially opened in March 2025, it is a stunning modern rectangular structure designed by the architect Rafael Viñoly who created several landmark buildings such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the "Walkie-Talkie" in London.
River Legacy Nature Center and Park
River Legacy Nature Center and Park is a 1,300-acre oasis along the Trinity River in Arlington where you can connect with nature through exploring miles of scenic hiking and biking trails that wind through forests, wetlands and prairies.
The Nature Center features interactive exhibits, terrariums and educational programs for all ages, inspiring the protection of the environment through hands-on learning.

Watch the Grand Prix of Arlington
IndyCar visits Arlington as the third round of the 2026 season, with Alex Palou winning in St. Petersburg and Josef Newgarden winning in Phoenix, showing the exciting rivalry between Chip Ganassi Racing and Team Penske.
The 2.73-mile track will weave through Arlington’s core sports and entertainment district and feature two iconic sporting venues - the AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys) and Globe Life Field (home of the Texas Rangers).
Cooper Street Antique Mall
Cooper Street Antique Mall has over 53,000 square feet of antiques, collectibles and treasures displayed in over 200 booths and showcases where you can purchase a souvenir to remember your trip by.
Visitors can also eat in their Tin Tulip Tea Room which offers fresh food, daily soups and sandwiches and yummy desserts.
Levitt Pavilion
Levitt Pavilion hosts more than 50 free outdoor concerts each year ranging from home-grown Texas country music to hot Latin rhythms which you can listen to under the stars.
In the summer they also have family movie nights where you can grab a blanket or lawn chair, bring along the cooler with drinks and snacks and enjoy a night out.
Arlington Museum of Art
The Arlington Museum of Art has ever-changing exhibits and experiences that unite art, technology, innovation and education for all visitors alike.
There are collections of the very best of contemporary art and evolving genres of experiential art, such as works by Ansel Adams, Salvador Dalí, Milton H. Greene, Richmond Barthé, Charles White, Utagawa Hiroshige and Pablo Picasso.
