Seven things to do and see in Lusail, Qatar as Formula 1 races in the Pearl of Arabia

Lusail is the economic capital of Qatar and located on the coast, looking out at the beautiful Persian Gulf.

Formula 1 races at the Lusail International Circuit for 57 laps at a fast and flowing track that is always hot, challenging the drivers’ fitness.

Place Vendôme Mall

Place Vendôme is a mixed-use development that offers retail, leisure and entertainment, making it an ideal seaside destination that overlooks a canal with dancing fountain shows.

The Marina Promenade has stunning views out to the sea as well as urban and futuristic structures in the distance.

Along your walk there are also food kiosks, water features and kids playgrounds, making it a place for the whole family to have some fun.

Watch the Qatar Grand Prix

Formula 1 visits Qatar from November 28-30 at the Lusail International Circuit, with McLaren hoping to race well here after both cars were disqualified in Las Vegas.

The 5.4 kilometre track has mainly medium and high speed corners as well as a main straight, which provides plenty of overtaking opportunities into Turn 1.

Al-Manaa Mosque

Al-Manaa Mosque stands as a testament to the splendor of Islamic architecture, with its awe-inspiring design accommodating up to 3,000 worshippers.

It also has a modern library with several multilingual Islamic books arranged in alphabetical order.
